Reference Books is a service which enables you to access and read books online. It puts the power of the web's finest technical reference library at your fingertips. You can search for books using words or phrases. You can also browse books by category.
Access to this feature may not be part of your subscription. If you cannot see this feature on the site, ask your administrator about feature availability.
You can add your favorite books to a personalized bookshelf for convenient access, and create bookmarks anywhere in a book, with related notes, for future reference.
The information in Reference Books falls into two main categories:
- Book Listings - These listings present summary information about books, such as title, author, and copyright information. Book listings provide links into the actual content of the books. On the table of contents page you will find the title, author, ISBN, and other valuable information. There are three ways you can locate book listings from Reference Books:
- Using the Search feature to locate book listings
- Browsing by category
- Using My Bookshelf to create a customized listing of specific books.
- Book Content - This is the content that makes up the book and is found on the actual pages of the book.
Note
- The Reference Books feature is enabled or disabled at the contract level and is done at the time the contract is set up. If you don't have access to Reference Books, the functionality will not be available to you on CompuMaster Online Training.
